The organization was formed with the mandate to address leadership succession challenges in our educational communities across the province, to develop and deliver leadership programs based on current knowledge and research and ensure consistency and cohesion among all programs and to design and sustain the infrastructure which will allow BCELC to achieve these objectives.
The organization aims to develop and improve the leadership skills of new and existing principals and vice-principals across British Columbia’s K-12 school system, which is geared toward student achievement.
